If anyone has about 10 minutes to spare, you should watch this collection of 80s commercials. The genius from youtube that put this together is great!

Those were great! I hadn't seen the Bonkers commercial in a long time. Wonder if mr gloom from rainbow bright was a republican haha The karate kid figures!!! bwhahahaha!!! I never had that robot that went with nintendo, did you? He looked pretty good, but so did the gun and it sucked. LOVE LOVE the "CBS Special presentation"!!! Remember they would show that before The Wizard of Oz or Rudolph. That brings back the memories!! What a crappy prize the "fun factory flier" was. Prizes, cereal prizes, and happy meal toys were stinky when we were kids but we liked them anyway. HAHAHA I didn't remember that Simon commercial, but that band was so funny!!! omg, the mullets!!! I didn't remember O.G. Readmore until I saw that commercial!! Thanks for those!!

I forgot about the Bonkers thing, but I sure remember it now. Mr Gloom--haha! I didn't have the NES Deluxe, but I had the gun and the game Gumshoe ROCKED! Of course I held the gun right up to the screen. Was that cheating? LOL. I beat the game, though. I remember the first Happy Meal prize from the Crossett McDonald's--it was a multi colored fry-guy comb from 1984. I was disappointed that the Crossett McDonald's didn't have the Mayor McCheese and Quarter Pounder thingy that you could climb into, but they had a shuffleboard--haha. Yes, that CBS Special presentation brings back "warm fuzzies" and makes me long to be back home carving a jack-o-lantern or trim the Christmas Tree with my family--Those were the days--Danny and Carol Sue ROCK!!
